At a very young age Carrie Garcia studied various forms of art. Photography, however, was the one artistic medium that captured her true passion. Deciding to study and pursue photography, she was quickly influenced by some of the great photographers of our time; the stunning portraits of Annie Leibovitz, the black and white use and composition of Herb Ritts’ photographs and the stunning images produced by Irving Penn. Those photographers, to name a few, left an emotional and visual impression in her style of photography. Since then, she has thrived to do the same; to leave an artistic impression of beauty and simplicity in her photography while documenting her client’s special moments.

Carrie Garcia received her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Photographic Imaging from The Art Institute of Atlanta, where she received the high honor of Best Portfolio in Show of her graduating class. Her diverse range allows her to specialize in all photographic areas including fashion and location photography as well as photojournalistic wedding photography. Her spirited and relaxed demeanor, as well as her distinct ‘eye’ for fascinating photography, allows her to capture the striking collection of work you see.
